I fell in love with the German Shepherd breed with my first Shepherd a black and tan West German named Seer. She was one of the smartest, most intuitive dogs I have ever seen. Full of talent she soon taught me all the skills she had in her. Skills like tracking & finding every lost kitten, chicken or puppy, or goat. right, left, back, forward verbally or by hand sign. Once sent on a catch and take down I would call out a body part and she would take you down by that part. Even climbing ladders to join me on the roof. The list goes on and on. She was truly one in a million. I began to read & research the breed shortly after getting her in 1998. Every once in a while I would come across a GSD that looked crazy different then the American elongated, thinner, wobbly GSD. VELMI DOBRY NORBO BEN-JUEvery one of these had the look of a professional athlete. Thick solid chests, a squared frame and massive head. Sometimes shorter in the legs, and the legs resembled tree trucks, much like the famous Czech, Norbo Ben Ju pictured to our right. Most everywhere I found this look, I found the DDR moniker. So, began the thirst for East German DDR knowledge. I learned that the breeders of the former East Germany (DDR) not only breed this body style into existence they breed out many problem issues with the health of the dogs. They choose the most potent bloodline's and then only breed from within. Through development and a detailed system, these breeders managed to achieved an unparallel working German Shepherd. Physical characteristics, such as massive bone structure, thick chest, square conformation, huge head all geared toward endurance & longevity under the harshest conditions. Traits like suspicion for outsiders, fight drive, ability to work independently from the handler & heart and focus where honed to levels never before achieved.

    Adalrick Black Male German Shepherd
Mostly everything lost in today's German Shepherd. I stumbled across a photo of David V Nebelholz and it was over for me, I had to have something from that! The build, and the confidence exuded in that photo hooked me. I found a web site with close ties to his lines. Adalrick was my first pick and oh.... what a good one! He can only be described as a stallion! Poco his sire was enormous well over 100 lbs. Adalricks grandpa Yake Vom Schwarzhorn brought with him some super, DDR lines. V Held vom Ritterberg Lord vom Gleisdreieck, SG Blacky vom Gleisdreieck, V Ex vom Riedstern, V Ingo von Rudingen, V Pushkaß vom Haus Himpel, V- Xito vom Baruther Land, When he first stepped out of the car, my neighbors were sure that I had found a small California black bear, having not seen a German Shepherd like they built from the DDR.

I'm still not quite sure why, perhaps the brown eyes and brown and crazy coloring, but to me the scariest looking German Shepherd is the Sables, especially the Deep Dark Sable Shepherds, black sables. My next pick was a orange, yes orange full east german boy that looked as if he required batteries, I have never seen colors like this boy has, still have not. He was being evaluated with his brother for a police future. Fortunately for me, he did not show his true potential at the moment, his brother eicked out the pick by slime margin. When I went through the lines for Mein his name, It seemed that each parent had that thick square body style with a massive square head, and serious nature look with serious working skills. Mein's Sire SG Ali von den Schwedenschanzen has a great thick body style and super blocky square head, this real square body style which gives my line more power while increasing speed and maintaining agility. Mein Sable Male German Shepherd I was so thrilled to pieces with this find, Ali's nerves where described as rock solid and it was stated he will bite for real. Real is what Mein developed into very quickly. This boy has a genetic bite like nothing I have seen. At three months you really where uncomfortable on a puppy sleeve. The pressure, full mouth bite with no need to re grip was/is amazing. The fight in such a small puppy when provoked was nothing short of extraordinary. Mein while being extremely safe will fight with a vengeance when provoked or asked to. His stableness when out of alert is as rock solid, as his fight drive when called upon. Ali brings to the table and forward through Mein a super pedigree. Line breed on some of the best and hard to get, V Don vom Rolandsteich, Condor vom Marderpfahl, SG Lord vom Gleisdreieck, V Ingo von Rudingen, V Ohle vom Rundeck, V Don vom Haus Himpel, V Berry von Christelas, V Mentor vom Haus Iris, V Golf vom Ritterberg, V Fels vom Kemmlerblick, V- Neumann's Jim, Henk von der Moschel Ali's sire, maternal grandsire is Tino Felsenschloss.

    Trac Sable Male German Shepherd
If I had to pick one dog with many of the body traits that I have mentioned that come with our puppies, one of the most amazing looking and down right scary looking when being charged by, has to be VELMI DOBRY NORBO BEN-JU. He is pictured above. That's one Big Thick German Shepherd. Aiden von Hard Haus was brought into our lines to bring this big boys thickness and pure power, and bolster super work ability. Aiden was with us for just a short time, unfortunately he was lost by a trainer in the Menifee, Ca area. We where fortunate enough to have had an accidental litter (only in timing) between with Aiden. From this litter we kept the pick of the litter and we bring Norbo BEN-Ju forward with our boy Trac. Trac is amazingly smart like his father Aiden. He has way above average prey drives. He is a very serious dog, super fast, super agile and very suspicious of outsiders. I expect his puppies will have excel in pp and top level sport.
